Soundtrack choice

I know I said I will post story board next, but will do it later.
Today I started browsing for a soundtrack. After reading a begining a book (part about George and a boat) I found out that their mother is playing piano, 'Fur Elise' by Bethoven to be exact. I started looking for all possible remakes of Bethoven's "Fur Elise" including metal versions, drum and bass, house and dubstep. Some of them really good ones, however just few of them were chosen and I will decide later which one will be used for my title sequence.
Those ones are best:
Music Box Version
Nightcore Version
Wrath Remix
DnB Remix
Dubstep Refresh

I will use just some chosen part of one track, but also thought of mixing two of them, i.e. to start with music box version and then add some other track to it, when action will start (when George will start chasing a boat).
I will decide on this later on when all my footages will be ready.

Further planning

After another chat with friends I found some proper idea, and I have to start planning how and where to do my shots.
Here is a little quote from the book:

I will upload my storyboard images in next post, in this post I will just point out what I will need for my shots.

Acting:
- 10 years old boy
- 6 years old boy

Resources:
- desk
- newspaper to create a boat
- glue and other stationery
- yellow rain coat for 6yo
- red wellingtons for 6yo

Scenery:
- a room for first scene
- street
- rainy weather
-  drain

Idea generation.

After a while of researching I decided it will be good to create some title sequence for movie about clown or doll or something similar. I watched some other trailers/title sequences, but didn't liked it. I had completely different ideas to those existing trailers/openings (Childs Play, Joker, The Dummy).

After a long discussion I had with my friends I came up with some decision. My title sequence will be for a book written by Stephen King "IT". I know there is movie existing, but I would like to do it differently.

I started looking for some tracks as well and started reading the book and watched a bit of movie as well. Just to find out more, and to generate some propper idea.

Here is a link to movie opening - it's in spanish but that's image I am looking at...

And here is a trailer as well, not sure if it's the real one but thats the only one I found....

Begining

Beginings are always quite hard for me, as I always got problem with ideas. This time was exactly the same. I watched so many movies and read so many books in my life, that I just couldn't decide what to choose. I've decided it's gonna be a horror film, as it is always full of mystery and fear and those feelings are easier to express in such a little time as 30 seconds.
First I looked at some favourite movies I watched in the past, those most significant or most scary ones, so I could start some plannig and brainstorming. I watched trailers of many movies, mostly horrors, and it made me even more confused about what should I create for this project. I gave up watching movies and started searching my favourite books, and any other online books with tags such as horror, scary book, etc. I gave up again, as I couldn't find nothing good enought and easy enough to film it myself.
